NICHOLE HEYDENBURG

Thriller and Fantasy Author

Nichole Heydenburg has always been an avid reader. She read Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone when she was eight and shortly after decided she was going to be a writer. Over the years, she has spent her time constantly writing, whether it was poetry, short stories, or plays. Nichole attended Adrian College and graduated with honors with a Bachelor's Degree in English with an emphasis in writing and a minor in theatre. She is an author, freelance editor, and business owner. Book editing services are offered through her company, Poisoned Ink Press LLC.

Nichole has published eight books in a variety of genres, including crime thriller, psychological thriller, supernatural thriller, young adult thriller, and young adult fantasy. She finds sticking to one genre boring and likes to write multiple genres just as much as she likes to read them.

In her free time, she is passionate about reading, hiking, traveling, and hosting board game nights with her family and friends. She feels most at home in the mountains. She currently resides near Asheville, NC with her husband, Zed, and their rescue dog, Mr. B.

FUN FACTS

Nichole spent most of her childhood moving all over the US due to her dad's job, but she's happy to finally be settled back in the Carolinas close to her family.
Nichole has one tattoo, inspired by her favorite band, Blue October.
She's seen Blue October live in concert 7 times.
She loves to travel. So far, Nichole and her husband have traveled to France, Germany, Antigua, Japan, Denmark, Sweden, and Norway. They're currently deciding on their next international trip.
Nichole is addicted to coffee and would probably murder someone if she didn't get coffee first thing in the morning.
